Vocabulary Lessons

When reading new books, it can be fun to introduce your child to the fantastic world of vocabulary, which will also increase her comprehension. Point out new words. “Do you know what 'capsize' means? It’s when something tips over, like a boat.” Later, you can make a real-world connection by showing her how the toy boat in her bath capsizes.
