Use "The Book Thief" to Start a Dialogue about Difficult Topics
Reading a book can solidify your child’s reading comprehension whether you read aloud to each other or simply read in tandem. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is a fantastic book to try together. This book follows the tale of a foster girl living on the outskirts of Munich during WWII. This harrowing tale will leave you with plenty to talk about with your child.
