Turning Pages

When you read with your baby, you may be accustomed to turning the pages yourself – after all, as an infant she didn’t really have the motor skills to do that particular task! But as soon as she shows interest, let her do the page-turning. It may lead to you reading pages out of order or skipping some, but so be it. This is an important lesson in the basics of how books work.
