Triangles Everywhere!

Pointing out shapes in everyday life helps infants and toddlers begin recognizing geometric patterns. Spend a day focused on triangles. Show your child that every triangle has three sides. When you or your child finds a triangle, make sure you count the three sides out loud while touching each side. Look for triangles in your home, at the store, and outside while playing.
