Traffic Light Lesson

While out walking or driving with your child, see if he can tell you what the three colors on a traffic light are. Does he know which means stop and which means it’s okay to go? Follow his lead as far as how much he’s ready to understand, but it’s never too early to begin teaching basic road rules, such as how to cross a street.
