Toy-Car Painting Project

Try this modern art-inspired project. On a large piece of paper, paint a wide, thick strip of tempera paint in one color down the left side, and a different color down the right. Have your child drive a toy car through the paint from one side to the other, zigzagging back and forth, or up and down, until he’s satisfied with his modernist masterpiece.
