Too Much Stuffed Stuff?

Your six- and seven-year-olds are likely still very attached to some of their stuffed animals. But it’s also pretty likely that they’ve outgrown a bunch of them. Ask your child which stuffed animals are his favorites, and put them aside. For discards that are still in good condition, donate! Call your local children’s group, women’s shelter, animal organization, or other non-profit to see if they accept used stuffed animals. Your trash may be someone else’s treasure—plus you’ll keep garbage out of the landfills.
