To Keep Backpacks Tidy, Do a Clean Sweep Every Friday

When kids spend class foraging for pencils, they miss work. To keep backpacks tidy, clean them every Friday. Toss old snack bags, paper, and other trash. Buy your kids pencil cases so they know where a writing instrument is at all times. Keep necessities (binders, a planner, a few pencils/pens) and nothing else in there to minimize clutter.
