Timers Are a Must During Study Time
The next time your child has a test to study for, set a timer for 30 minutes, let him study, and give him a 5- to 10-minute break when the timer goes off. Repeat until your kid knows the material. It's a mental trick, really. Even though your child may end up studying for two hours, doing it incrementally seems less daunting.
