If your child has trouble keeping with the rhythm of a song, try using a metronome. If your kid has learned a song perfectly, but is having trouble playing at the right speed, then turn on the metronome, adjust to the correct tempo, and have your kid try to match the beat of the song to the beat of the metronome.
