Things That Go Boom!

Summertime thunder and lightning storms can fill some children with fear. They can be less scary if children use them as inspiration for poems. They do not have to rhyme; just encourage them to use words to describe what they hear, see, and feel. Use Sight Word Poetry Pages to help practice writing more poems.
