Texture-matching Balloons

Get a bunch of balloons, and use a funnel to fill them, in pairs, with small amounts of various pantry items, and tie shut. You can fill two with flour, two with rice, two with pearl or Israeli couscous, two with lentils, and so on. Have your child use her sense of touch to pair the balloons, or even try to identify their mysterious contents.
