The Teaching Value of Sensory Toys

Babies learn through all five senses, so when you’re choosing toys for their educational value, don’t forget the tactile items. For example, choose books with touchable pages and elements, such as a fuzzy bunny, a rough-skinned elephant, or a smooth lizard. Give your child as many chances as possible to learn the physical properties of the world around him through touch.
