Teachers should be thanked and praised often, not just during a designated Teacher Appreciation Week. A gift is nice, but it doesn’t always have to cost you something. Send an email or have your child create a card. A quick appreciation comment at pick-up could brighten their day. Encourage your child to do the same verbally or in writing.
