Teach Your Child to Use Spelling Tricks

Help your child improve his spelling with some easy tricks. Distinguish “dessert” from “desert” because strawberry shortcake requires two s's and the Sahara only needs one. Use the phrase "a friend until the end" to remember friend ends with e/n/d. Remember that “beautiful” begins with b/e/a because "it's important to be a beautiful person inside and out."
