Talk Around Your Baby. A Lot.
Talk Around Your Baby. A Lot.

Expressive (spoken) language may be a ways off, but receptive (understood) language is a skill babies learn starting at an early age. So keep talking. Your baby’s putting together cues (you talk about preparing her lunch and then she’s fed – so she’ll start to understand words like “dish” and “highchair” before she can say them).
