Take a Virtual Field Trip With Your Child

Let your child know that you care about what she's learning in school by taking a virtual field trip together. For example, if she's studying the history of your state, visit the National Museum of American History's website together. And if she's studying animals, visit the website for your local zoo. If possible, participate in interactive e-learning modules provided on the websites, and ask your child to show you parts of the site that relate to what she's learned in school so far.
