Summer Problem of the Day Box

Making a problem of the day box is a great way to get your child to use his problem-solving skills all summer long. Using age-appropriate worksheets, cut the problems up and put them in a decorated box or bag. You can use a shoebox, an empty tissue box, gift bag, etc. Each day, your child can pull out a problem or two and solve it in a journal or notebook while he sits outside.
