Summer Book Club for Kids

Gather some of your child’s friends and start a book club. Ask what topics they’re interested in and make a list of books to read. Let each make a selection. Have them keep reading journals for each book they read. Then, encourage them to meet up and talk about the books. Maybe offer them a pizza party if they finish the whole list! Check out the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge for book recommendations and more.
