Strengthening Relationships With an Autistic Child
Sometimes it can be challenging for siblings to get along, and when one child has autism, another dimension is added. There are things you can do to foster their relationship and make things go more smoothly when obstacles occur. Find overlapping interests and promote them. Validate feelings in both children. Focus on traditions and avoid surprises.
