Star Charts Can Raise Reading Scores
Help your reluctant reader make reading goals and stick to them with a star chart. For every day he reads a certain number of pages, he gets a star. At the end of the week, the number of stars equals the reward offered. The more stars, the better the reward! 1 star can be extra video-game time while 7 stars can earn your child a sleepover, for example.
