Stair Hop ABC Game

Ask your preschooler to jump or skip up or down a flight of stairs (parental supervision is suggested!) while reciting the alphabet. Kinetic learning, in which body movements are involved in cementing a new piece of information in the brain, works well with little kids who naturally like to move their bodies. You can also use selected letters or printouts attached to the stair steps.
