Sorting Laundry

You may already have a hamper in your child’s room, into which you’ve encouraged him to toss his dirty laundry when he gets undressed. And you may have introduced your child to the wonders of helping you sort clothes by colors and types in the laundry area. Why not combine both activities? Get a couple of small hampers, or a laundry-sorting bin with different sections, that you can keep in his room. Now teach him how to sort as he removes and discards dirty clothes.
