Singing Into Math

As you sing lullabies and songs with your child, don’t forget about all the different math songs you can sing to reinforce numbers and counting. Use your fingers to demonstrate how to count while helping your child show each number on his or her own fingers. Some great counting songs are "Monkeys Jumping on a Bed," "Five Little Pumpkins," "Ten in a Bed," and "The Ants Go Marching."
