A Simple Roll of the Dice

Kids love playing with dice, and you can use that to help them learn some simple math concepts! All you need are two dice cubes. Take turns rolling them, with whoever’s not rolling yelling out “Add!” or “Subtract!” as soon as the dice hit the floor. Pick a number between 2 and 12 as your “wild card,” and whenever that number comes up, see who remembers to yell a funny word you agreed upon (pickles, toads…you get the idea). Keep score, and whoever gets five “pickles” first, wins the game.
