Shape Sorters

There’s a good chance that you have a shape-sorting toy at home. If you haven’t pulled it out in a while, introduce your older toddler to the toy again and see how much better he is at matching the shapes to their proper holes. Work in some vocabulary boosting with comments as you hand him shapes: “Is this a circle? Now, where is the square one?”
