Shake It Up: Homemade Tambourine

Because babies love making noise and feeling rhythm, it may be fun to make your own tambourine. You’ll need two sturdy paper or plastic plates, some craft glue, and a handful of dry beans or beads. Put the beans or beads on one plate, and glue the other on top. If your baby’s old enough, he can decorate his new instrument with markers or crayons. Then make some music together!
