Take steps to keep your family safe at the beach. Research beaches that have lifeguards on duty, but don’t take your eyes off your child, even if there is a lifeguard present. Make sure conditions are safe to swim. Swim parallel to the shore, rather than straight out to sea. Apply sunscreen with high SPF liberally on yourself and your kids and remember to keep your family hydrated!
