Science Trivia #5: Goliath Beetles

Tell your child: "The Goliath beetle is the largest living insect in the world today. How many ounces does it weigh?" The answer is 4 ounces – the size of a stick of butter or a small apple. It's huge! To extend the learning, suggest that your child find objects in the house similar to the actual size of the Goliath beetle to make comparisons.
