Scheduling time to goof off is one way to ensure work time is maximized. If your child knows he has a break coming up, the temptation to fool around during homework time won't be as great. Plus, down time becomes much more relaxing. If your kid is overwhelmed with work try adding more breaks; you'll be surprised how efficiency increases!
