Right, Left, Over, Under

Teaching your toddler basic directional concepts – not just left or right, but up and down, over and under, around and through – are fundamental to later math and science learning. When you are out and about with your baby, tell her which directions you’re going. Do the same when you’re in the house, showing her a toy under the cushion on the floor.
