Rewarding Summer Reading

Have your child create a summer reading log. Ask him to write down all the books he finishes during the summer. When he reaches five or 10, or whatever number you feel comfortable with, he'll get to pick a reward: a special movie day, bowling, a beach day, or whatever puts a smile on his face.
