Reinforce Tough Concepts Around the House

Incorporate tough concepts into casual conversation around the house. If your child struggles with geography, mention at dinner that several countries use potatoes frequently in meals and point them out on a globe or world map. Is he having trouble with fractions? Have him stack ¾ of the groceries on the counter and ¼ on the kitchen table. Sometimes, having real-world examples can help kids make sense of challenges.
