Read Directions Out Loud

The next time you need to read a set of directions while you're doing something, like making a new recipe or setting up a new board game, ask your child to read the directions to you out loud. This will give her additional practice reading orally while also assisting you with the task. And when you're done, be sure to express your gratitude.
