Raisin Sculptures: Making Shapes and Letters

Make learning letters and shapes more fun and tastier. Gather a pile of raisins and some toothpicks. On sheets of paper, draw letters and shapes – try to keep the sides about as long as the toothpicks. Have your child arrange the toothpicks on top of the drawn letters and shapes, and use the raisins to connect the toothpicks. If you and your child are feeling particularly ambitious, try some 3-D shapes.
