Show your child how carbonation is actually air inside of liquid with this delightful experiment. Pour clear carbonated soda water or seltzer into a clear glass. Have your child carefully drop four or five raisins into the glass, and watch how the raisins fall, then rise, then fall again. Explain that it’s the carbon dioxide bubbles that perform this “trick.”
