Pushing and Pulling

Be sure you have plenty of things for your child to push and pull, such as a toy cart or a wagon laden with toys. You can provide, beside these two, pretend lawn mowers and vacuums, or pull-along toys of all kinds. Feeling crafty? Make your own! There’s nothing wrong with a cardboard box (decorated like a train car or a wagon, for example) pulled with a string. This is a great way to teach your child the concept of opposites, as well as cause and effect.
