Prime Number Hunt

A prime number is a number that has only two factors: 1 and the number itself. For example: 11 is a prime number because its factors are 1 and 11. As you travel this summer, have your child search for prime numbers on the road, at the store, near the beach, etc. She can keep a list of all the numbers she finds and see connections to different numbers in the real world.
