Pretend to Be a News Reporter

Have your kids pretend to be reporters and put on their own news program. If possible, let them record it digitally, and then edit the segment using your computer's video editing software. Encourage them to focus on a specific issue, such as the opening of a new park or how to prepare for an emergency, and include live interviews with experts or witnesses.
