Prepping for Prepositions

Prepositions – like in, on, over, or under – give many preschoolers trouble. You can help teach these by playing this simple game: Use a ball or small toy car and a shoe box. Place the toys around the box and ask your child to put the car in the box, put the car next to the box, and put the car under the box. Then turn the action around: Ask your child to tell you what to do.
