Precision Is Key When Choosing Words for Writing

Writers become great writers because they've mastered the art of precision. Specific words are always juicier than plain ones. To help improve your kid’s writing, go through her stories and exchange vague words (car) for specific words (Porsche). To spice it up even more, describe those words (royal blue Porsche).
