Playing Start and Stop

Working on your child’s listening skills is a great way to get her ready for preschool. Choose two noise makers, such as a bell and a drum. Tell your child she should walk when she hears the bell ring, and stop when she hears the drum. You can of course vary the sound-producers, and up the ante by adding other sounds associated with other activities.
