Play Geometry Hopscotch

Instead of using numbers to play hopscotch, suggest that your child draw different geometric shapes in the spaces of the hopscotch board: triangles, squares, circles, rectangles, hexagons, etc. Ask questions and see if your child can throw a beanbag or rock to the shape that's the correct answer to the question. For example, if you ask about a shape with three sides, your child should throw a rock onto the hopscotch box with a triangle in it.
