Play Dress-Up and Learn

Many little ones love playing dress-up. Next time your toddler wants to clomp around in Dad’s shoes or plop on your hat, take the opportunity to teach about size (little feet, big shoes), texture (nubby knit scarf, smooth silk one), and color (Dad’s brown dress shoes, mom’s silver sandals). Save older purses for a pretend shopping trip!
