Plant Watermelon Seeds

Save some watermelon seeds the next time you eat one. All you need now is an egg carton and some potting soil. Have your child spoon soil into each section and plant the seed. Encourage him to water the seed daily. It won’t be long before a small seedling will emerge. You may never get a whole watermelon, but your child will learn how seeds turn into plants.
