Photography as Expression

Communicating through words may not come naturally to your teen. Using another outlet for expression may be just the thing to get your teen to open up. Lend your kid a camera and teach her the basics. Encourage her to set up a digital account with an online photo outlet like Flickr (for ages 13 and up).  Set privacy settings you can monitor so she can share her work with close family and approved friends.
