If your child isn't jazzed about the guitar or piano, perhaps he will take to the drums. Visit a music store and have him sit at a drum set and try to bang out a beat. If that's still not cool enough, look up a local band and take your child on a date to hear the drummer whip out an extended drum solo. Your kid may just catch the music bug, yet!
