Paper Mache for the Day

You can papier-mâché just about anything and make it into art, but start with balloons. Have your kids blow up a few balloons to varied sizes and help them mix together the papier-mâché (you can purchase the kit at a local art store).  Coat the balloons with the paper and wait for them to dry. When they’re finished, help your kids pop the balloon inside. Finally, have your children paint and cover the paper anyway they would like.
