Painting the Natural Way

Help your children create their own art supplies. Start with a few baby food-sized jars with lids and clear, liquid dish soap.  You’ll need to buy some powdered tempera paint in different colors. Mix one-part soap to two-parts tempera. If you want to avoid the store altogether, try using grass, dirt, berries, flowers, and even fruits as color mediums. Kids just need to grab a paintbrush and start creating!
