Paint Collage

Instead of the same-old glue-it-down collage, try a paint collage instead. Here’s how it works: Let your child gather pictures or decorations she wants in her collage (magazine pictures, letters, bits of ribbon, etc.). Lay out a sheet of paper and help her paint the whole thing in one or more colors. Then, while the paint is still wet, have her stick down her pictures how she likes. Let it dry, and the items will be painted to the paper.
